PROGRAMMES IN THE TZMO GROUP
The TZMO Group actively supports the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, in line with the United Nations 2030 Agenda, through internal Programmes.
TZMO drive to ZERO WASTE
TZMO Group's ambitious commitment to responsible waste management
The TZMO Group has committed to meeting an ambitious target in 2020 of completely eliminating post-production waste sent to landfill by the end of 2025.
TZMO Group's road to ZERO WASTE
Based on the short-term goals defined in the Programme, we are accelerating our efforts on the TZMO Group's road to ZERO WASTE.
The goal set for 2023 for the TZMO Group to reduce post-production waste sent to landfill by 80% was already achieved in 2022!
The success in achieving the goals of the Programme in the individual years of its duration is due to the partnership of all the units involved in the TZMO Group and the initiatives taken together.
87% of TZMO Group units have already achieved zero post-production waste to landfill!
The 'TZMO drive to ZERO WASTE' Programme demonstrates that the TZMO Group goes beyond the legal requirements for environmental protection, engaging in a full life cycle of consumed raw materials and conducting an open dialogue with stakeholders, with the aim of supporting the assumptions of a Circular Economy.
We have internal recycling processes - we own recycling lines in the TZMO Group, which guarantee the recovery of a significant part of the waste generated by the Group's production companies.
By implementing the assumptions of the 'TZMO drive to ZERO WASTE' Programme, we support the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals:
TZMO drive to CIRCULAR PACKAGING
TZMO Group's ambitious commitment to responsible packaging management, based on the assumptions of a circular economy
TZMO Group's commitment is to develop a portfolio of packaged products in which 100% of packaging is reusable or recyclable. The actions taken during the Programme are also based on reducing the primary raw materials consumed and increasing the use of recycled raw materials in packaging.
The TZMO Group's holistic approach to the issue of the Circular Economy of packaging is related to our producer responsibility for the full life cycle of all consumed raw materials. That means that we focus on all types of packaging - primary, secondary and transport - and based on all types of packaging materials - plastics, paper and cardboard, metals, glass and others - in achieving our goals.
Considering the TZMO Group's responsibility for the environmental impact of the entire packaging, and not just part of it, we are making changes to the packaging of our own brand products so that they have the lowest possible negative impact on the environment.
By implementing the assumptions of the Programme "TZMO drive to CIRCULAR PACKAGING", we support the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals:
